About the Co-op

What is a university consumer cooperative?

A consumer cooperative is an organisation owned and democratically run by its members. University co-ops bring that model onto campus and return the value of their work to the people who study, teach and work here.

Chungbuk National University consumer cooperative supports campus life through food, retail and community services while giving members a voice in how those services are run.

Become a member

Members help shape the co-op and can receive benefits from the services they use on campus.

Member Discounts at Dining Halls

Members receive exclusive discounts at dining halls operated by the Chungbuk National University Cooperative.

5% Off at Kubi&U Cafés

Members receive 5% off their purchases at Kubi&U cafés.

2% Rewards at the Bookstore

Members earn rewards equal to 2% of purchases at the cooperative bookstore.

Priority for Co-op Part-time Jobs

Members can participate in cooperative operations and receive priority when applying for cooperative part-time jobs.

Scholarships for Student Members

Scholarships are awarded to students who have maintained membership for at least 90 days since the previous semester, taking into account cooperative usage, employment status, and financial circumstances.

Share Dividends Based on Performance

When the cooperative performs well, members may receive dividends on their share capital.
